For Immediate Release:

MET (Leggett & Platt), the nation's premier visual merchandise company in association with E-Magine recording artist Operatica hosts their spectacular year-end party event on December 8.

The Event: Friday, Dec. 8th - 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM - 601 West 26th Street, 15th Floor, NYC

New York, December 8th - MET hosts an event incorporating and highlighting the groundbreaking new music from the brand new album Operatica (O) Volume 1, featuring the exquisite voice of world-renowned coloratura soprano Maureen O'Flynn.

MET's craft is retail therapy. Through their core strengths and capabilities they are creating truly stunning retail experiences for such prestigious clients as Gap, Kenneth Cole, and Saks 5th Avenue.

The same meticulous approach MET employs in working with its clients; it brings to its fantastic year-end parties. While last year the theme was "MET Side Story" this year MET has commissioned the beautiful dancers of the Martha Graham Dance Company. The dancers, resplendent in colorful body paint will perform specially choreographed dance numbers, providing an exciting visual complement to the sensual, magical and innovative music of Operatica.

To ensure that this spectacular event becomes a truly special multimedia experience FanFaire.net, the premier Web Site for Opera lovers will film this celebration of vocal and visual interpretation; the soul infused soundscapes of Operatica music will stream on their Web Site throughout the holiday season.

A handpicked team of lighting and decorating experts has been given the task of creating a party ambience ranging from the festive to the ethereal. Invitees will be treated to first-class catering beneath a tented rooftop patio. The full-length "Operatica" CD will also be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds going to Classical Action, the classical music division of Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS."

"Operatica (O) Volume 1 scoffs at the idea that spirituality, intelligence, and electronica cannot mix." Slamm Magazine, October 2000

"Villa Lobos' Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5 arrives in a jungle of swooping electronic effects, the O'Flynn voice perched in the middle, a model of poise, luster and composure. In Ave Maria, the voice seems magically cloned, fanning out in harmony with itself." Philadelphia Inquirer, September 2000

"Reaching the toughest audience of all, her [Maureen O'Flynn] nephews are beside themselves - 'they are finally able to play something of mine to their friends, they came to an opera gala this summer, and now they're out buying opera recordings.'" Philadelphia Inquirer, September 2000
