Ten Years of Music in the Life of The Cybertenor

This CD is a historical document of tenor Fabio Armiliato's career from 1989 to 1998. The arias were recorded live at various performances in Europe and the US and are heard on this CD in chronological sequence. Perhaps the leading Italian tenor of his generation, Fabio has sung many of the great tenor roles of the operatic repertory in the world's major opera houses ever since his professional debut in 1986. One of opera's most computer-literate personalities, he codes and posts his own web pages from the laptop he lugs all over the world.

Fabio has another CD - the first recording of the
opera Amica by Mascagni. He has just informed FanFaire that his third CD will be released on the REAL SOUND (www.realsound.it) label January 27, 2001 (the day of Giuseppe Verdi's death 100 years ago). Aptly entitled "A Verdi Tribute," it will be his first studio CD, to be distributed in the USA by QUALITON. He sings the celebrative "Hymn of nations" and arias from the most popular Verdi operas; Marcello Panni conducts the Orchestra Philarmonique and the Chorus of the Opera de Nice.
