Without a doubt FanFaire is among best of on-line music magazines. Every time I visit the site I am amazed at not only the variety of topics in each issue, but also at the depth in which they are covered. A perfect example is the exhaustive information that is included about Myron Fink's world-premiere opera, THE CONQUISTADOR, which we produced last season with Jerry Hadley in the title role. In addition to singers' bios and background notes, Fanfaire went to great lengths to obtain unique materials, exclusive interviews and many, many photographs. I am also pleased to see beautifully written features on German baritone Hermann Prey, Dame Joan Sutherland, Richard Bonynge and Mario Lanza, as these are some of my own favorite artists.
