RICHARD
LEECH AT THE![]() |
| This major regional company has been one of Richard Leech's cherished "homes" for over a decade now. Verdi's Rigoletto was the vehicle for his debut here in 1986 and he chose the company for his role debut as Faust in Boito's Mefistofele in 1990. For his portrayal of the doomed Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca in 1993, he was voted "Singer of the Year" by the Pittsburgh audience. Below is a summary of Richard Leech's seasons with the Pittsburgh Opera: |
| Rigoletto | May 1986, May 1991 |
| Faust | December 1986 |
| La Bohème | October 1988 |
| Les contes d'Hoffmann | March-April 1989 |
| Mefistofele (Role Debut) | April 1990 |
| Un ballo in maschera | May 1992 |
| Roméo et Juliette | May 1994 |
| Tosca | March 1995 |
