And
if he feels cheese-y or somewhat Italian, he goes for these two recipes:
Baked Ziti* |
1
pound ground chuck
1 16 oz box ziti pasta
1 large(28 oz) jar Prego spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 large package shredded mozzarella cheese (4-5 cups)
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
oregano and Italian seasoning

Cook
ziti; brown and drain ground chuck.
Season with spices; combine ziti, ground chuck and sauces.
Layer 1/2 ziti mixture on bottom of 9x13 inch pan; sprinkle with half
of cheese.
Layer again.
Bake, covered at 350 deg for 30-40 minutes.
If you wish, add fresh mushroom and onions, and more cheese.
Top with grated Parmesan cheese. |

| Vegetable
Pizza* |
1-2
cans crescent rolls
8-16 oz cream cheese
1/2 - 1 c mayonnaise
1 Tbs dill
chopped raw vegetables: broccoli, cauiflower, black olives, onion,
celery, mushroo, zucchini, etc. |
Spread
dough onto cookie sheet flat and pat together.
Bake at 400 deg 10 for 10 minutes.
Cool.
Blend mayo, cream cheese, dill and spread on cooled crust.
Top with vegetables. |
