There are films, conversations and symposia, lectures, art exhibits, light shows, nature and museum tours from which true-blue Wagnerites are sure to pick up new insights to add to their arsenal of knowledge and determined neophytes can learn enough to become experts on Wagner, the man, his music, and the mythical gods, goddesses, giants and dwarves who struggle to become lords of the RING.

The Festival climax is of course the set of three complete RING CYCLE performances, the first ever in LA history, beginning on May 29 and running through June 26, 2010. As exemplified by the video clips above, each scene of LA Opera's spectacular, technologically cutting-edge production is a visual feast, a testament to the genius of ACHIM FREYER--painter, director and stagecraft master of the highest order.

You can even DESIGN YOUR OWN RING, if back-to-back attendance of the performances does not suit your schedule OR you can pick and choose if you don't have the budget or the desire or the stamina to attend all four operas. So... there's no reason why you should deny yourself a most unique operatic and theatrical experience.
